Quick Shout Tip

You walk into the IEP meeting, and don’t recognize a single face. Has this happened to you?

No shame in that, but knowing who is in that room is just as important as knowing what services your child is receiving.

Quick Shout Tip #5: Write down the names and roles of everyone at the table. Don’t just nod along during introductions. Make sure to get it down on paper.

This one small habit makes a big difference. It keeps the school from using a “group think” mentality to dismiss your requests, and it means you’re always talking to the right person. Because trust me, you do not want to be asking the Speech Therapist about your child’s handwriting goals. 😄

My free IEP Guide was made for exactly this. Names, roles, services, and notes all in one place so nothing slips through the cracks. Grab it below if you haven’t yet!
