IEP Coaching

If you have ever sat at the table during an IEP meeting feeling overwhelmed and confused or left an IEP meeting and felt overwhelmed or confused allow us to prepare you to be an informed advocate for your child. IEP meetings with multiple people, new faces, using terminology you don’t understand can negatively impact your ability to properly advocate for your child.

If you are a parent of:

  • a student who recently began receiving special education services
  • is in the process of possible identification and eligibility
  • or if your child is receiving special education services

and you are not comfortable or feel knowledgeable to effectively advocate for your child, contact us do not enter another meeting without allowing me to help you and your family. Our educational support provides parents and guardians with:

  • Explanation of evaluation results
  • IEP interpretation
  • IEP terminology
  • Explaining your child’s exceptionality
  • Parental Rights
  • Explanation of IDEA/Federal Mandates

Leave your next IEP meeting feeling confident, knowledgeable, satisfied, and knowing you actively participated in the meeting to receive the services your child needs. We offer free 30-minute consultation services.  During the consultation, we will discuss your needs and how my services will positively impact your experience in your next IEP meeting.

Note: I am not a lawyer and/or designated advocate and do not provide legal advice. I serve parents to become confident, prepared, and knowledgeable members of their child’s IEP teams.

We look forward to serving you. Please contact us for more information.
