At this time teletherapy services are provided for residents of Georgia. In person therapy services take place in our office located in Locust Grove, GA.

Therapy sessions are tailored to each client. Caregivers of younger children are active participants of the therapy session. Parents are taught and provided ways to address and facilitate speech and language development at home.

IEP Coaching service are provided nationally. Contact us to set an appointment .

Communication prior to scheduling coaching services


A screening is a quick effective way to determine whether or not a child presents with some delay that would require further in-depth speech and/or language evaluations.

  • In-person screenings (depending on state interaction mandates)
  • Informal online parent screening (coming soon)

A comprehensive evaluation is conducted to determine the need for speech and/or language therapy due to a communication delay or disorder. Comprehensive evaluations include:

  • Primary care doctor’s referral may be required depending on your insurance.
  • 30-90 minutes in length
  • formal assessments comparing performances to chronologically aged peers
  • combination of parent information, observations, formal and informal assessments
  • results explained and provided in a detailed report

If an evaluation was conducted within 6 months, evaluations results maybe used. Please note more information maybe required.


Speech and language disorders are treated through speech-language therapy.

Setting: Therapy services can take place in the home, school, private therapy clinic, in the community, or via teletherapy.

Frequency: The number of sessions can depend on if your insurance will cover your services, the severity of the disorder and parent availability.

Length: The length of therapy sessions depends on disorder type and severity, child’s needs, insurance, and parent availability.

Structure: Sessions structures can be individual, small group, in the classroom, via a telecommunication platform.

Type: The type of therapy will depend on your Childs age, ability, behavior, personality, and disorder. There are children that can sit for 30 minutes without difficulty and children that need to move or take breaks.

IEP Coaching Services

Never leave another IEP meeting feeling confused, defeated, discouraged, or disappointed. Our educational support provides parents and guardians with the information you need to walk into your next IEP meeting confident that your child will be receiving the services he/she needs. Our services include:

We offer free 30-minute consultation services.  During the consultation, we will discuss your needs and how our services will positively impact your experience in your next IEP meeting. Private IEP coaching services are personalized to your needs.

  • Recommended for children between the ages of 5 years and older without significant language delays.

Please note: PayPal, Zelle, Cashapp, and Venmo are not HIPPA compliant and will not protect your health information provided through an invoice. SHOUT SLT adheres to national health privacy policies and do not accept payments through these companies. If you have any questions, please contact us

  • Commercial insurance: Shout SLT is an out-of-network provider. We highly recommend that you contact your insurance company prior to beginning services to determine your out of network reimbursement. Please note we will not file a claim with your insurance. We can provide receipts and itemized medical super-bill for possible reimbursement, upon request. Payment is due at the time of service.
