Oh Baby.

Original Post: January 20, 2013

First I have to say Happy New Year! Next I would like to apologize for my absence. 2012 was a very interesting year for my family. My family was in the process of moving to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where my husband got a new job. In the process we found out we would be expecting our third child. So, in an attempt to retain some kind of normalcy for our girls, we decided the girls and I would remain in Fl while daddy worked 3 states away. Needless to say my plate was full, but through prayer, family, and friends support we made it through and we now have our 3rd beautiful baby girl. Mommy, baby, girls and daddy are doing well.

As a result many of my career endeavors have been put on hold and/or will be relocating once we move. I am currently on maternity leave which provides some late night opportunities to “blog”. I know I should be sleeping when the baby sleeps, but knowing she will be up soon I figure I might as well stay up. I am looking forward to providing you with new speech-language news, opportunities, strategies and more in the upcoming weeks. The period of newborn language and speech development is so amazing and I am going to love witnessing and sharing it with you.

I hope this past year was a great one for your families and that this new year will be you and your little ones many opportunities to shout and be heard! Come back soon.
